I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Deloitte LLP in February 2014.

Interview Details I was an undergraduate student, I applied through Deloitte's website, received an email 2 weeks later for an in-person interview on campus. I was interviewed by a consultant and a recent engineering grad who's working at Deloitte. The overall interview process was ok, the job turned out to be slightly more technical than I expected

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Deloitte LLP in October 2013.

Interview Details Here are the steps it took to get the job at Deloitte

1) Online application - Typical stuff: Resume, Cover Letter, Unofficial Transcript.

2) Phone Call with Recruiter - Really was just a conversation, no interview questions

3) First interview - Over the phone if out of town or in person. Sat with 2 senior consultants who asked a mix of technical, behavioural, and situational questions. They were asking off of a predetermined list. They also don't mind if you say "I don't know" to a technical question

4) Second Interview - Starts with dinner and drinks the night before the interview with managers and partners (about 25 candidates were left at this point). The next day you do 2 45 min - 1 hour interviews, one with a senior manager, one with a partner. At this point, they're judging fit rather than qualifications. I was told by a senior manager at dinner that it was really my job to lose and that a position would be made available to me if the managers and partners felt that I was a good fit.

I got a call the same day as my second interview with an offer. Apparently the calls are staggered over a week or so.

I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Deloitte LLP in March 2009.

Interview Details Three step interview process. Interview, dinner, then two additional interviews with senior management. First interview was with two senior consultants who will drill you on every detail on your resume. Next they invite you over for an evening dinner if you quality, after that you are interviewed by a senior manager and then separately with a partner at the firm. They ask questions in a way to see if you'll emotionally react to odd and overly challenging situations. (Hint: keep your cool, its all a test).

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Deloitte LLP in February 2013.

Interview Details I applied to Deloitte Consulting through our University career center as well as through Deloitte's career webpage. I received an email a few weeks later saying I had been selected for a first round interview on my University campus. That interview lasted about 45-50min and included a mix of behavioural and job specific technical questions. The interviewers essentially asked me to clarify each point that I had stated on my resume.

Once I cleared that round, I was invited to a cocktail/dinner party in Toronto where candidates had the chance to network with partners and senior managers within the firm (some of whom would be interviewing us the day after). This wasn't really an interview but more like a getting to know Deloitte sort of thing. The day after was the final round of interviews with the partners. I was interviewed by two partners and the questions were very behavioural and professional. It felt like they were seeing if I was worthy enough to be faced with a client. They also wanted to see if I was intellectual so they asked me a lot of questions on the economy, what type of books I read etc. All in all it was an interesting interview process. A few hours after I finished my interview I received a call from the partner to give me the good news!

Interview Question – Unexpected: What's the name of the book you are reading? Who's the author and why did you choose that book?   View Answer

The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Deloitte LLP in May 2011.

Interview Details The 1st phase of the interview process was with a younger consultant. It consisted of a get-to-know you portion followed by a question which tested your problem-solving skills. There was then a dinner in which they were looking to see how interested you were in the position and company. Then there was a day when you got interviewed by 2-3 Deloitte partners.

Interview Question – Tell me about a time when you didn't reach the expectations that were set out for you.   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Didn't try...should have though!

I applied through college or university and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Deloitte LLP in October 2011.

Interview Details Had one interview on campus, quite basic behavioural questions. Next, was invited for dinner and 2 back to back interviews. Both were straightforward, getting to know you, ask about past experience, just getting to know you.
