Interview Details I got the interview by a alumnus. It is a 1:1 interview with a manager. They wanted someone with a CA to do the financial due diligence including the EBITDA normalization and working capital analysis. The manager is pretty friendly. Unfortunately, I do not have a strong accounting background. The manager suggested I could start with a smaller firm.

Interview Details Interview was much more focused on teams situations and your personal life (work-life balance). Questions on your resume and past work more focused on how effective are you in working in teams. Because they assume you know nothing, they will not ask you any technicalities.

Interview Details The interview process was fantastic. There was an initial case interview with 2 different Senior Consultants. The second stage was a formal dinner with all other candidates. The third and final interview day was a 4 hour group case, followed by several 1:1 interviews. I can't say enough good things about it even though I didn't end up getting the position. The people and the process, although tough, were great.

Interview Details I was very happy about the interview process with Deloitte. The interview process consisted of a telephone interview, a face-to-face interview with three people, another quick interview with the two people from the previous day plus a 3 hour skill testing session, an interview with a partner from the department, and one more final interview with a senior partner; all of which occurred on separate days. Everyone I met with was extremely friendly and positive and were very comfortable to be around. They said from the second interview they were very impressed with my performance so far and that they would try to expedite the interview process. The process overall took just under two weeks including weekends.
Interview Question – Nothing was really out of the ordinary; pretty standard interview questions I would say. They did tend to ask a lot of behavioural questions however, seeing as how personality and professionalism are a huge part of the job with Deloitte. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Depending on how far along you are in your career, Deloitte actually offers a very good starting package. Above average salary and benefits were offered to me compared to my previous employer.

It takes too long for the interview process to move along. I had to follow up with the HR recruiter over and over again. As Deloitte standard interview process, got a HR screening interview, which lasted for about an hour, and was told that a technical interview would follow up, then fit interview and partner interview.
It took them almost two weeks to arrange a technical interview with a manager. That happened on Feb. 1, 2013. Then didn't hear anything till Feb. 11, 2013. I was told that the manager would like to continue the process. However, I was told that they would arrange second phone technical interview, which has not been confirmed up to Feb. 22, 2013. They kept changing the date, ultimately no confirmation sent to me so far. I assume the hiring process is still in progress, just too slow and confused.
I don't feel I got anywhere so far in the whole process, only feel they want me to feel there is a hope, but it seem too far, and I can't give up other opportunity to wait for something this uncertain even though I feel the position I applied for in Deloitte is my first choice.
This is where I am. I won't say that I would give up the effort, but definitely not good experience. I only went through two interviews since the hiring process started in mid January 2013.
Interview Question – There was no unexpected questions so far, even in the technical interview. However, the manager expected me to know everything, when the position only requires 2+ years experience. Answer Question

I applied to Deloitte Consulting through our University career center as well as through Deloitte's career webpage. I received an email a few weeks later saying I had been selected for a first round interview on my University campus. That interview lasted about 45-50min and included a mix of behavioural and job specific technical questions. The interviewers essentially asked me to clarify each point that I had stated on my resume.
Once I cleared that round, I was invited to a cocktail/dinner party in Toronto where candidates had the chance to network with partners and senior managers within the firm (some of whom would be interviewing us the day after). This wasn't really an interview but more like a getting to know Deloitte sort of thing. The day after was the final round of interviews with the partners. I was interviewed by two partners and the questions were very behavioural and professional. It felt like they were seeing if I was worthy enough to be faced with a client. They also wanted to see if I was intellectual so they asked me a lot of questions on the economy, what type of books I read etc. All in all it was an interesting interview process. A few hours after I finished my interview I received a call from the partner to give me the good news!
