Sales Representative at Cintas

No Offer – Interviewed in Toronto, ON Oct 2012 – Reviewed Nov 13, 2012

Interview Details The initial contact was done via a recruiter and got me an interview with the regional managers. It was a good interview with some typical questions but mostly situational sales questions. They were looking for someone confident that can talk well and «close» the sale. They expect you to ask them for the next interview at the end as part of your «pitch». The second interview is a day following a sales rep (visiting prospects and cold-calling). They expect you to make a lot of calls and get some meetings so don't be shy. The final interview (which I did not get) is with the national sales manager. They never called to say I did not get the position.

Interview Question – They ask many situational questions so try to put yourself in a salesman's shoes. They also asked how much I wanted to make and why I wanted to work with that company and in that industry. Do your research before hand and you'll be prepared.   Answer Question

Manager Trainee at Cintas

No Offer – Reviewed May 21, 2013 New

Interview Details Seemed unorganized, didn't know what the other hand was doing. I had a phone interview with one portion of the company and was told I would hear back within a week...nothing. When I called the HR manager I interviewed with, he never called back.

Then I had more interviews with Cintas for the emerging business portion and they had no answer for the HR manager on the uniform side never contacting me again.

Interview Question – What is your expected salary?
-This is a tough question to answer so I gave them a ballpark answer.

Management Trainee at Cintas

No Offer – Reviewed May 10, 2013

Interview Details Applied online and also through the Cal Guard Work for Warriors program. It was rather relaxed. The Manager and I got along great and he told me a few times how I was more qualified than most people they get applying, with my military and degree/work experience. He also asked a few curious questions about my Guard commitment. And then I didn't even get a second interview. I don't think they wanted someone still in the Guard, though they claim to be a very pro military company.

Interview Question – They were all very standard situational type questions. "Tell me about a time when you had a conflict with a supervisor" and stuff like that. Pretty simple if you have any life experience at all.   Answer Question

Management Trainee at Cintas

No Offer – Interviewed in Oklahoma City, OK (US) Apr 2013 – Reviewed May 07, 2013

Interview Details The process is quite drawn out and is fairly intimidating. A culmination of 4 interviews led to lunch with the regional vice president. The interviews involved about 6-8 role-playing questions per and then allowed time for looser structured questions for the interviewer and interviewee.

Interview Question – Name a time when you took the initiative to improve the safety of your work environment and what difference did it make?   Answer Question
