Anonymous Interview Candidate in Juncos, PR
I applied online. I interviewed at Amgen (Juncos, PR) in Sept 2021
It was a very methodic interview by Human Resources. I did not continue the process because I was not interested in the night shift. Based on the questions, they should be very effective selecting the resources.
- They asked about supervising experiences. They have to be very effective selecting the resources.
Anonymous Employee in New York, NY
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amgen (New York, NY)
Large panel interview, two rounds, back to back. There is an interview learning guide if you apply internally. For both interview external and internal, welcome to your interview packet will be sent detailing rooms you will go to. If external, try to ask for a detailed floor plan map of the building so you won't be late.
- Tell me about a time you had to escalate something up to management.
- What do you like most about quality?

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Amgen (Thousand Oaks, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview began with a brief candidate background and then moved into what their expectation for the roll is. This was followed by a series of technical questions specific to role and situational questions.
- Scenario questions...how would you handle this situation, why?
Anonymous Employee in Boulder, CO
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amgen (Boulder, CO) in Oct 2010
I was initially contacted by a recruiter for Amgen who did a phone screen, then I did another phone screen with an HR manager. After that I interviewed with the hiring manager and several team members, them I interviewed with a group of managers from a cross functional group, then I interviewed with the site head of quality.
- The interview with the site head of quality was the most difficult because he was very negative and confrontational. turns out that this was his way of seeing how I would handle the situation.
