Accepted Offer – Interviewed on Oakville, ON Nov 2011 – Reviewed Apr 18, 2013
Interview Details They will ask you your skills on working with other people, on a team, a time where you failed to meet a goal or deadline, and they will also ask you to go into the store and pick out an outfit that you'd suggest to a 17 year old guy (that's how my interview went). Just be sure to be friendly, EYE CONTACT, able to sell yourself (while working it'll be the product) and be yourself because that's pretty much what the job entitles you to be.
Interview Question – Basically the question of meeting a deadline / goal. View Answer

Interview Details We set up an interview on the spot when I dropped off my application. If this doesn't happen for you, I guarantee you that you are not going to get hired. When you drop off your application, ask for the hiring manager and do not let anyone else take your application (it ends up in a pile with the other 100 applications that were never given a second thought) bring your application back when the hiring manager will be in and talk to them directly. And don't bother unless they are currently hiring (they always accept applications though). From there the interview was pretty typical. They did say they would call back within 2 weeks if they were interested, but it took them over a month to contact my references after the interview.
Interview Question –
The questions they asked were all standard interview questions:
Why would you like to work here? Describe a time where you had to deal with a difficult customer...etc.
Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Even though it is intimidating and they don't really give you an opportunity to negotiate, when they offer you the job, negotiate your wage and make them specify the hours you will be getting
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Thunder Bay, ON – Reviewed Oct 10, 2012
Interview Details I had handed in my resume and roughly 2 weeks later, I was called back for an interview by one of the assistant managers. The interview was done within the store at the back where there was already a set up of couches and whatnot for customers when the store was closed.
Interview Question – "If someone where to come in simply just looking, how would you turn them into a buyer?" Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed on Vancouver, BC Dec 2011 – Reviewed Feb 12, 2012
Interview Details The interview process was quite casual. I came in to ask for an application form, completed this and then got an interview the same day. During the interview, a few basic questions were asked which was standard and it was then followed by a personality test which gives them an idea of what traits you have. I received a call 2 hours later and got the job! The perception of the company was quite positive, very easy going and nothing too challenging.

Interview Details
I walked into the store and asked to speak with the manager. She then handed me an application and I returned to the store after filling out the application and she told me that she would call me sometime that week but I did not get a callback until 3 weeks later from a different manager.
The interview was done in the food court and was fairly relaxed. After the interview, I filled out a personality test.

The interview was pretty easy. I was in a group of about 10 people. The interviewer asked us a couple of easy questions, like how would you deal with so and so. personal questions and such. They than paired us up and got us to "sell" them a pair of denim. At the end, she asked us to describe ourselves in 3 words.
They are looking to you being yourself. SO BE YOURSELF!
Interview Question – Describe yourself in 3 words. (Positive of course) View Answer
Declined Offer – Interviewed in Vancouver, BC May 2009 – Reviewed Sep 27, 2010
Interview Details
The interview began by phone - i was called after dropping a resume in person at the store i was interested in.
The person who phoned asked me a few questions about me, my career goals and interests. Then she invited me to a group interview a couple of days later.
At the group interview were about 3 guys and 6 girls. Some people were also seen leaving the location ( before business hours) presumably having been to an earlier group interview.
We were all greeted and asked to introduce ourselves to the others and tell a detail about ourselves, such as where we go to school, etc.
There was a casual group discussion ;ed by the interviewer, about retail fashion, and what it is like to work in a shop, past experience, applicable courses like fash merch, etc.
Then we were asked to assemble three looks for three hypothetical customers and gather the outfit pieces from around the store in a few minutes. We had to present our looks and 'sell' them to the rest of the group, why we had chosen those items, how they were relevant to the season and trend, as well as why they were right to the client, etc.
That was the most fun part, and i really enjoyed it, but some people cleary were somewhat uncomfortable with presenting their ideas. Some people really did not create a complete 'look'.
At this point another interviewer who had been observing came out and thanked certain applicants who were allowed to leave, and others were asked to stay for a 1:1 interview with a manager.
I was interviewed in the stockroom by a female manager and allowed to ask anything i wanted about salary, hours, culture, training, etc.
She was very nice and had recently moved to continue her career with the company after several years in another city.
She asked for my references and permission for security background check. She also gave me a packet to read about the company rules and dress code, etc.
Basically she said if all checked out i could be working with them within the week.
I received a call two days later offering me the job and advising that the offer was only for a few hours per week to start.
I needed a full time opportunity at that time but would consider this company in the future.
Interview Question – Can you please create a look now for a hypothetical customer based on several criteria ( i.e. season, age, fave activities, interests, body type, etc.) with accessories and sell it to the group in a presentation? View Answer
Reason for Declining – The offer was for 2hours per week to start. I was looking for a full time position and decided i needed to consider other offers instead.
