Interview Details I was approached in the store and applied online. The interview was easy and the store manager is very friendly. The manager took us to a corner in the mall so we can talk. The interview was about 20 to 30 min. And I got a call for offering the job the next day. Very fast and effective.

Interview Details Went into the store and filled out an application on their electronic screen. Told that interviews are happening on certain afternoons of the week, had the option to go to anyone of them. It was a group interview with less than 10 people.

Interview Details The interview process was pretty straightforward, if they approached you in store about being a model, then you're pretty much guaranteed the position as long as you don't come off as completely incompetent during the interview. The manager takes a group to a quiet part of the mall and asks question like "what does diversity mean to you?" and "why would you be a good fit at our store?".
Interview Question – "What does diversity mean to you?" View Answer
Negotiation Details – There's no negotiation process. At a place like Abercrombie and Fitch where they hire at least one new employee every week and already has over 100 models in the system, they really don't give you a chance to negotiate.

Interview Details
Group interview done with 3 other applicants. We were lead to a quiet area of the mall. Interview was standard - the assistant manager read from a guide, letting us know it was structured and what we could expect. She talked a bit about the company, and her experience.
Questions:
1. We were then invited to introduce ourselves, and tell an interesting fact about us, or why we want to work at Abercrombie.
2. What's your greatest strength?
3. What are you successful at?
4. Describe A&F in one word.
5. What does diversity mean to you?

Interview Details My interview process was terrible! I was called to meet the manager in store, but wasn't told if it was a formal interview. I had prepared myself for an interview, showed up at 8:00 AM, only to have her read out the job description for me. She said I was perfect for the job, and they would call me THAT night to set up a formal interview. Two weeks later, I called back, explained that if they didn't think I was right for the position, I wouldn't take it personally. She reassured me that I WAS right for the position, and that they were very busy and would call me THE DAY after. It's been 5 months.. still waiting..

Interview Question – what is diversity and why is it imporant in a workplace? Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Sep 2009 – Reviewed Sep 22, 2009
Interview Details You have to be friendly and open to all the other people going for the interview, and talk to them while the manager shows up. The manager takes about 30mins to 45mins to show up, late, of course, to the interview, and then asks five questions. They judge you on what you wear, and since the colours at A&F never change, they are always navy blue, white and grey. Never EVER wear black to A&F, you will NOT get the job.
Interview Question –
What is diversity? Why is it important?
What seperates A&F from other companies in the mall?
What will you bring to A&F?
Tell me about a time when you had to work quickly and make no mistakes.
