I interviewed at ALDI
Two in person rounds, and then two site visit rounds where they see how you operate in a store. Overall not a hard process, just takes a long time. Important to just be yourself and you’ll be fine!
- Who inspires you the most?
Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI
The interviewer was cold and mean during the entire interview (not a single smile). I asked for clarification on a question and she just simply repeated the question. Side note: It also seems that once you apply for a District Manager role in a certain district, other districts automatically reject you if one doesn't like you.
- Can you tell me a time you made a decision that impact the life of others?

I interviewed with a current district manager who had experience in the role I was interviewing for. The interview was straightforward and mostly focused on my experience along with a few situational questions.
- What challenges do you expect to come with this role?

I applied through university. I interviewed at ALDI
Typically the first round interview is 30 minutes with one of the various regional managers. Then if you make the 2nd round it is a long full-day interview at the nearest district hub. There you will go through 3-4 30-minute interviews back to back. You will also get a tour of a store and the distribution center.
- In your own words, describe decision making.

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ALDI (Haines City, FL) in Mar 2024
First round is a HireVue, second round was about 30 min with a current District Manager, and final is an all-day in person interview at the nearest distribution center I believe. Lots of scenario based questions but felt conversational.
- Why do you want to work at ALDI?

Interview with District Manager of entire North America over zoom. Was roughly 30 minutes and was more questions than conversation. Environment was calm but serious. Enjoyed but wouldn't work there based on interview
