Interview Details I was called to schedule a phone interview. Interviewer seemed like she already knew who she was going to give the job to. I sent a thank you letter after interview nonetheless. I sent follow up email after 2 weeks without a response. After a month, I called the interview and got to speak with her after several attempts. I asked for an update and she was like, didn't you get the rejection letter? okay I'll have it sent to you. yup
Interview Question – I don't remember any tricky questions. Most of the interview was going through my resume Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Fort McMurray, AB Feb 2009 – Reviewed Apr 29, 2009
Interview Details I was first contacted by the HR recruiter for 3M Canada and had a 2 hour (not exaggerating) phone interview which was preliminary and went well I felt. Then I had a face to face meeting with one of the Senior Managers and that too went well and lasted in excess of 2 hours. Mostly long term aspirations type of questions. Finally, I was asked to travel to 3M's Canadian corporate office where I was interviewed and taken to lunch over a 6 hour period and was interviewed by 5 different managers. I only heard back from the recruiter after about a week and was told that the first manager who met with me did not feel that I was the right guy for the job. I was surprised (shocked) to hear this as he was the man who obviously said that I was good to pass on to the corporate team at 3M for continued interviews. A way too long process and frustrating dealing with all of the "red tape"

Interview Details The interview process was very detailed and professional. It was frustrating applying online because you have no idea who is getting your email or if they even look at your resume.

Interview Details
The process started with a phone interview and a questionaire. If you can get to the in person interview, you are likely 50% or better. My interview was with 4 people and they are basically looking for competence. If you appear competent and have the credentials... Congratulations.
In order to get this job, you must be open to relocating anywhere THEY want to send you.
Interview Question – I was thrown $$$ figures without an actual offer as an ice breaker in an interview. I certainly wasn't expecting it and it took away much of my negotiation capacity. Answer Question

Interview Details Went well, got a position. Now trying to move after 3 years, I have applied to over 50 positions, some lateral, some would be a promotion and even a few lower grade. I have had 2 interviews and the rest have been sorry charlie, keep trying. After 50+, that outragous and unacceptable. It is definately, not what you know, it is WHO you know.
Negotiation Details – Vacation time was the only thing I could negotiate. My salary was 6K less than my last position.

Interview Details The interview process was professional but still friendly. I was taken to the on site Walmart showroom and asked a variety of experience based questions. They were thorough with my resume and were interested to learn. In the end they went with a candidate with more experience but I am thankful for the interview process. I feel like I gained a lot.

Interview Details Applied online, had a telephone interview then assessment centre at Bracknell. The day we well organised and very relaxed. Really enjoyed it, seems like a great place to work. Their hiring process seems somewhat flawed with only 2/6 of those who attended getting a job offer, even though i think at least 4/6 were very qualified.
