    Pros

    1. One of the best products you can get to work on (esp if working in Engineering).
    2. Pretty good technical/smart bunch to interact with day in and day out.
    2. Very open culture.
    3. Fairly good work/life balance.

    1. Annul raises can surely be much better.

    Need to find some way to get our stock up again. Its been lying low for a while now.

    Pros

    Great sales people come and go, great atmosphere at conferences and most of the time in the office. Good technology and some very smart technologists. I really liked the CEO Vivek, super smart guy.

    Cons

    Quarterly targets a constant challenge, often senior sales VP's would pull rank and call the client directly, and under sell the value on a deal that may have taken months to set up. Usual challenge with revenue's across borders, with team work ending in different countries as soon as they thought they might lose revenue to you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try not to change strategies so often, don't panic with bad figures, understand the problem and put in place a strategy to overcome the problem. The sales cycle is 12-24 months, stick by your good sales people and managers it takes a long time to bring in and bring up to speed replacements. It will require a period of sustained stability to bring the numbers back in my humble opinion, buy your team and stick by them, don't just sack them if you don't get the desired result in a few quarters.

    Good Culture, Work-Life Balance, Autonomy, Cutting Edge technologies and Products, Opportunity to learn and excel.

    Cons

    Variable Pay (especially if you work for services group), Change in Culture, Bad people management, you tend to get stuck if you are at the wrong project, Less motivation and empowerment.

    Culture has been the important trademark for TIBCO, don't induce policies affecting our Core Culture and Values.

    Pros

    Perhaps one of the most employee friendly companies in India. There are very less bureaucracy and micromanagement isn't really a part of their culture.

    Cons

    Lousy annual salary hikes unless there is a promotion. Even the best performers end up not getting more than 7%.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't change the culture in the name of cost cutting or growing strength. Your culture is your biggest strength and you should keep holding on it.

    Great people and good benefits.

    Aquires to many company with no full integration plan. Internal departments fight for revenue recognition and sales leads. Very difficult to know where you stand at any given time.

    Pros

    - professional environment
    - nice co-workers (for the most part)
    - products that really work
    - employees are passionate about the products and company
    - problems solving culture - ie, know that they need to add value for their clients
    - many opportunities for employees to get together and talk shop and get trained!

    Cons

    - comp: they are cheap for the most part
    - often short staffed due too many "hiring freezes"
    - too quarterly driven (can you really blame them or any public company?)
    - like all companies this size sometimes the left had doesn't know what the right is up to
