Baltimore, MD (US)

Former Employee – worked at T. Rowe Price full-time for more than 8 years

ProsVery people friendly company, with good work/life balance. Solid benefits, generous 401k matching.

ConsOutside of NEV rated positions, they need to improve their bonus system to better reward high performers. Pay for performace doesn't hold up as well outside of NEV rated jobs.

Baltimore, MD (US)

Current Employee – been working at T. Rowe Price as a contractor for less than a year

ProsFor the last six years, I commuted a total of three hours daily for a former employer. T. Rowe Price has a convenient location which has reduced my commute to a total of one (1) hour daily. My fellow colleagues are friendly and very helpful in a team player sense of style, while the overall department has a relaxed atomosphere. Moreover, the managers are approachable and a pleasure to work with.

ConsAs a new contracted employee, I have yet to discover any cons at this time. I'm certain, in time, I will have more feedback, however, I'm confident my review of the company will not change much.

Advice to Senior ManagementAlthough I have yet to have interactions with many managers, the managers I have had an opportunity to work with is self-suffient and approachable. They also understand the need to maintain a fair work and life balance. Keep up the good work.

Owings Mills, MD (US)

Former Employee – worked at T. Rowe Price as an intern for less than a year

ProsThe company culture is great. At least in my department, everyone was extremely kind and professional. They were always willing to help and give support as needed.

ConsThere was a lot of down-time for the internship positions, as expected. This is not necessarily a bad thing though.

Advice to Senior ManagementNone that I can think of.

Tampa, FL (US)

Current Employee – been working at T. Rowe Price

Pros1) Great opportunity for exposure to other departments of the company.
2) Opportunity to achieve series 7 and 66 licenses.
3) Visible to managers tri-site.

ConsDealing with high call volume can be tedious, and dealing with high value client's that expect you to do everything can be annoying and tiresome.

Advice to Senior ManagementAlways make it known how you see yourself progressing with the company.

Current Employee – been working at T. Rowe Price

ProsCompany with strong integrity and client focus. Leaders put others ahead of themselves. Those with poor attitudes or variable commitment either leave or get shown the door.

ConsWell, any of us would take more money, but the good outweighs the bad. Just like in life, you can't have everything you want, and sometimes you have to wait for things.

Advice to Senior ManagementStay focused on clients and on finding good talent. We'll always have things to improve on, and need to be cautious about where we spend our money.
