    Cons

No good project... 4000 employees are laid off in April without any reason... If you don't have any option then join this company... Leave the company after two years if you want good career

    Advice to Management

No any advice for foolish management of syntel.....total wastage of time

    Pros

Easy to get visa and good infrastructure in Pune and Chennai. But of course at the cost of salary of their own employees.

    Cons

You will always be in some or the other bond if you join in India. If you join directly at onsite good to work unless you get some better job.

    Advice to Management

Do not keep bonds for everything. Employees who worked in your company for 5 years at least give them best treatment than askign them also to sign bond of 5 lakh.

    Pros

Nothing. Some managers are good and understanding.

    Cons

They have just one big project. Other companies like Infosys, Wipro etc... are eating into their share.
Terrible work life balance. They take too much work than they have resources for.
HR promises greencard on phone. No greencard is done. Even managers don't have it and are waiting.
Health care is useless. High deductible plan. Even small consultancies have better plans.
    Salary is rock bottom.
Heavy politics, no peace of mind.
High attrition. People join and leave quickly.
Management is involved in back-stabbing each other.

    Advice to Management

Change the working culture. Focus on long term than short term.

    Pros

    No pros to speak of.

    Cons

Poor communication about training, start date, reimbursement. Beware of this company. They are extremely unprofessional and will promise you things and not deliver. You can't get any answers from anyone as to what is going on. They like to keep people especially new recruits in the dark. Also, they like to hire Indians and take advantage.

    Advice to Management

Communicate and stop playing games with new recruits. Treat them with respect and don't make last minute decisions. It's hard to be successful when your company can't communicate expectations. Just really poor management.

    Pros

Ample free time, no work pressure, some good global clients

    Cons

No growth, bad managers with no educational qualifications to be managers, hr mangement is just for name sake

    Advice to Management

Stop doing favortism and think about the company over your personal growth

    Pros

Great health benefits. I could work from home sometime. I did meet a few new people that were nice. That's all.

    Cons

Corrupt. Dishonest. Unreliable. Stole from me... never repay relocation costs. System makes it almost impossible to turn in reimbursement. Called me to relocate to PHX yet did not have a job lined up for me. Scary.

    Advice to Management

    Don't treat employees like cattle...
