    Pros

Better than nothing. Can work with fun people, etc.

    Cons

Subway is a franchise so you are often subject to different demands and standards depending on the owner.

    Advice to Management

Consider growth opportunities for sandwich artists beyond buying their own franchise.

  3. Was alright. Didn't really expect anything else from a fast-food position.

    Pros

Hours were flexible, at least before the schedule is made.
The training is fairly thorough and the senior staff are fairly helpful.
    You get free food.

    Cons

No one is ever willing to cover your shifts so remember to book time off well in advance.
Closing the store is a horrible experience
Most of the people working there couldn't care less. Worst case scenario you end up working with someone who doesn't care and is incompetent (yeah some people can't even handle a job at subway. What a sad world)
You're going to want to kill yourself after working a 10 hour shift.

    Advice to Management

There has to be more consistency. One manager will tell you one way to do it. Another manager will tell you a different way to do it. Both managers will get mad at you for doing it the "wrong" way. You end up having to keep track of who you're working with in order to work "properly".

    Pros

The only decent thing for working at subways is 50% of the food

    Cons

Working at subway is stressful and you need to be quick with making the sandwiches.

    Advice to Management

    Train your team better.

    Pros

Personal growth - a great opportunity to learn how to be patient, polite and amicable

    Cons

Rush hour - customers tend to be very impatient and rude during rush hours. So if you're not a very patient person, fast food services would not be the best place to work.

    Advice to Management

Staff more workers during rush hours.

    Pros

It isn't particularly challenging, and when working with a good team, it can almost be enjoyable.

    Cons

I was given far too many evening shifts that I didn't want (until 3am). Only men closed the restaurant and they were always alone from about 8pm, which was always frustrating when the bars closed and we were rushed.
There was virtually no potential for growth or advancement, nor even the potential for a raise with demonstrated skill, speed, or experience.

    Advice to Management

The company needs to be more concerned about their employees. They get minimum wage, often bad hours, no benefits whatsoever.

    Pros

The best reason to work here is you get to eat the fresh food. Subway is very generous with employee's meals and perks. It doesn't leave you with food smell you are done working

    Cons

Subways are mostly owner by people who are not great people to work with. Like they would not care about your side of the story if a customer gets angry. From my experience the treatment of employees by owners is terrible.

    Advice to Management

I believe there should more opportunities of advancement. Employees are almost never aware of what is the level after becoming the manager of the store
