A great place to experience the global network of innovation

Senior Director (Former Employee) Toronto, ON

ProsA very innovative company with a great brand and many very bright people. An excellent learning environment that is global in nature. If you want to get a truely global experience this is the place. You also will get in depth knowlege of sectors including Industry, Energy or Medical. The products are truely world leading. The opportunity for someone early in their career to be trained and groomed are exceptional.

ConsMatrix structure causes it to be slow moving and its never clear who is leading the charge.
Often people spend more time reporting internally the same information over and over in different formats to the various stakeholders. It is inefficient and at the end of the day, the leadership is lacking.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmbrace and live the new vertically focused structure. Give full power to the sector leads.

Large, stable company to work for.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsTechnology leader, established support structure for career development, ability to relocate internationally. Depth of knowledge very good in most countries. Good training opportunities exist.

ConsCompany politics can be counterproductive at times, very process driven, not very nimble. Frequent global restructuring tends to create a significant amount of inward focus.
