I have been working at M/A-Com full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Family-oriented, work from home flexibility, great benefits.

    Cons

Nobody has any idea what HR does - not even HR. There's no job title consistency - one person can be a Manager of a Product Line, the other is a Product Line Manager. Lots of Directors, yet nobody seems to know of what. There are several HR people, but they all seem to pass the buck.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better. Not everything needs to be a secret, especially if it effects people directly.

    I worked at M/A-Com

    Pros

Got hands-on experience working in labs, rather than sitting in a cube. Got introduced to the field of RF which is interesting. Job was challenging and learned a lot.

    Cons

Job stability, bad tuition reimbursement' programs, very dependent on the economy because sells radios to the state

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    equal respect for employees
