Nice company but a tough environment

Software Manager (Current Employee)

I have been working at Experian full-time for more than 8 years

ProsThis is a good and stable company. The company has made profit and experienced growth even during the financial crisis. The company is growing and hence opportunities are growing

ConsAll teams are moving toward a global model and that means working days, nights and weird hours.

After 4 years in the company

Solutions Analyst (Current Employee)
Sofia (Bulgaria)

I have been working at Experian full-time for more than 3 years

ProsGood place to work and learn. Travel opportunity, great work environment, social package included. Annual leave is 25 days, more than the usual 20 days in other companies. Sometimes work is under pressure but mostly it's calm and does not require staying late.

ConsOpportunities for growth are not much. Normally growing requires moving to another office in another country. Salaries and bonus schemes are lower compare to similar companies.

Fair place to work

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Experian full-time for more than 7 years

ProsGood pay + bonus, benefits, interesting projects, global environment. Colleagues are professional and helpful. Generous travel policy.

ConsVery political and bureaucratic. Most departments do not really promote people from within although they claim that they do. Company downsizes frequently even though it is growing and profitable. Work load can be demanding as a result of short staffed.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus on job stability, internal career promotion and provide growth to employees. Stop wasting time on PR stuff like employee deal, client centricity and HOE.
