    Pros

    Experian is the biggest in the consumer credit services, so its a big name. New hire get good salary.

    Cons

    like other global companies, you see lots, you just see.. never get. one account do good, another doesn't, so its all get normalized.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    please don't confuse employees, probably they have intention of outsourcing some departments.not very secure job.

    Pros

    Great co-workers willing to share knowledge. This company treats employees like people. Organized charitable activities performed in local community.

    Cons

    Little room for professional growth. No work-life balance. Sometimes too focused on the here and now.

    So much missed potential, a lot of politics

    Pros

    - Reasonably good office in London
    - Work at FTSE100 company

    Cons

    - A lot of bureaucracy and red tape
    - A recent desire to be 'customer focussed' as a result of FCA regulation is not reflected in the core business model of their products
    - Controversial practices
    - Use of internal PR, many people are kept out of the loop
    - So many missed opportunities due to very slow decision making by management committees
    - Very bad meetings and emails culture - 90% of time spent in meetings, on calls and responding to largely pointless email

    Pros

    in some departments there is better work/life balance in others not so much.

    Cons

    Do not count on the bonus if taking a new position. Management is asking newcomers for input however always turn it down. Company does not invest money in the new software and uses mostly freeware or old outdated versions that not compatible with new versions that is currently on the market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Invest in the new updated software, allocate budget for technical training, be more open to the suggestions that new hires bring with their experience from other companies - it will help you to keep the company on the decent level.

    Pros

    - This company is a great start for someone early on in their career.
    - As it is a FTSE 100 company you are working for the industry leader.
    - Good work/life balance.
    - Young teams if you want a young atmosphere, not many people 40+

    Cons

    - Not so great for senior managers over 35! Some senior managers are 26 for example. We have one 40+ year old in our greater team and she is extremely insecure because of how young everyone is.
    - You need to play the corporate game to get anywhere. Most senior managers are very defensive of their roles as there are talented people who are younger and up and coming.
    - Some managers don't let their team members shine

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Don't let manager and senior managers take all of the credit for their team. From what most employees say, their manager doesn't do much compared to them.
    - Give every employee a voice and a chance to show their INDIVIDUAL achievements - not managers taking TEAM credit!

    Pay's well, depending on business unit good office culture, random perks and discounts.

    You can get lost in the shuffle.

    Pros

    Strong historically built brand that clients trust and respect.
    Very good decisioning automation platform PowerCurve - clients feedback tells it is the best platform in the market so far.
    Good expertise in analytics and business consultancy in people bearing the knowledge.
    Much attention to training communication and sales skills.

    Cons

    Transformation into a centralized company kills client-centricity, people legacy engagement. Dogmatic approach prevail. Lack of pragmatism that allows competitors win more often.
    Brand has been suffering distrust and unreliability attitude for 1-2 year steadily.
    Bureaucracy (decision making) is heavy and does not improve.
    Senior leadership is poor, strategy and company's identity and business model not clear and there are no activities seen at senior level to identify those - no clarity what the company is and where it goes.
    Payments lower than the market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Would be great to concentrate on determining the company's business model and the strategy. Be pragmatic.

    Difficult to convert from contract to full time

    Pros

    - in the main people are friendly although not the smartest or hardest working
    - work life balance is typically OK but reflected in poor pay and benefits

    Cons

    - pay is poor and below market rate for most roles except sales and senior management
    - poor talent retention and nurturing at junior level
    - company burdened by process and approvals - many missed opportunities due to slow decision making by committee
    - the company is full of people who get paid well and do nothing because they are friends with the right people. Removing the deadwood would help with morale of many

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - focus on developing talent within
    - pay to retain best junior staff (all the best are leaving within 2/3 years)
    - greater scrutiny of senior exec expenses (some are outrageous)
    - remove deadwood employees that are expensive and add zero value. Particularly in the central corporate function
    - your idea of bonus scheme is a joke, even for the global corporate teams
