Experian is the biggest in the consumer credit services, so its a big name. New hire get good salary.

    Cons

like other global companies, you see lots, you just see.. never get. one account do good, another doesn't, so its all get normalized.

    Advice to Management

please don't confuse employees, probably they have intention of outsourcing some departments.not very secure job.

    Pros

It is overall a fun atmosphere to work in most days. Some people you should just stay away from lol.

    Cons

When it gets busy it is almost like there's no slowing down in sight. They may also cut your lunch depending on the team you end up on.

    Advice to Management

There are a select few of managers how are genuinely helpful. Supervisor and team leads not so much.

    Pros

Great opportinities to progress, great big company benefits. Local management tend to do a good job and over a long period of time do produce decent products

    Cons

In the end you are a number to them and if the numbers are not working for senior management there is only one outcome.

    Pros

Top-notch employees - you really grow from being surrounded by so many talented and intelligent people

    Cons

No. Security. At. All. They frequently try to "cut their way to growth."

  7. Good company to work for but fairly unexciting job opportunities benchmarked against a FTSE100

    Pros

    - Relaxed working environment (dress code, social events etc)
    - Good opportunities for job variation and personal growth (taking the lead of projects)
    - Feedback culture (however isn't always acted upon)
    - Great looking offices
    - Good work/life balance

    Cons

    - Poor salaries for a FTSE100 financial firm
    - Grinding bureaucracy and lack of ownership delegated by senior management, coupled with senior management wanting us to be 'agile' leads to inevitable conflict
    - Unflexible working hours etc
    - Management hiding things that don't really need to be hidden.
    - Some extremely poor immediate line managers (not mine, but observed)

    Advice to Management

Lead by leading rather than micromanaging and meddling. Don't assume that you know.

Sort out the structure - it's lopsided.

    Pros

Compensation and benefits. Communication is clear and opportunities to move to different positions are real. The products are great and getting better.

    Cons

Terrible managers. Old fashioned company and management style. Lots and lots of employees who don't even know what they ara doing over there.

    Advice to Management

Qualify the good people, fire the old-low-profile guys with no proactivity and hire better.
