I worked at Deutsche Bank as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Friendly Office Culture
    - Open to providing training courses to interns
    - Experience with multiple teams and multiple roles
    - Positive work environment
    - Team work was encouraged, hard-work was valued

    Cons

    - Some employees seemed to have a 'who can be at work the most hours per day' competition
    - Very large organization and building meant there were many people you didn't know
    - Not enough fridge space or microwaves

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be good to have team separated rather than large open plan offices where many teams work in essentially the same room, to make the teams feel more united as a team rather than a one fish in a school of hundreds.

    Pros

It is a good chance to work at an investment department. I can be a global treasury sales associate for the vice president, which can enlarge my view.

    Cons

Too busy. I worked at China but need to track the Europe market. So the working time is not same as original division. Candidates need to work under great pressure.

I have been working at Deutsche Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The graduate program is very thorough and offers varied job rotations and qualification opportunities. Also being a global investment bank means there are options to move abroad internally and are often encouraged by senior management.

    Cons

Being a large bank can mean that any change initiatives being undertaken can be very slow and sometimes ineffective which can damage employee morale with large sums of money being wasted.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Implement change at a smaller level as opposed to trying to change the entire bank at once.
