    I like the way we are being treated as employees most of the time.

    Pros

    Weekend hours, they payed what was promised in interview, there were some great co-workers, supervisor (s) really took training seriously but also made it fun.

    Cons

    Long hours 12+ shifts, didn't know from week to week if any work would be there. Would have liked to have the opportunity to work more hours if available during the week.

    Employees are great and with the huge Walgreens contract there is a lot of opportunity here!

    I was new to the SAP software so it took me a little while to get comfortable.

    Pros

    ABC is a large corporation with many resources for development and advancement. You can succeed but you have to work extra hard to be recognized for your efforts - that's the pitfall of working in a large organization. Benefits are excellent.

    Cons

    No work life balance and pay is average for the market place. The focus is 1st in profit, 2nd on customer and 3rd on employee.

    Senior managers and clinical senior managers are overworked; several programs at a time which makes it difficult for them to adequately manage any program.

    The pay is competitive and there is a friendly atmosphere. The expectations are clearly made available and your career progress is carefully tracked.

    The vertical growth is limited in some areas. In some divisions people are hired for who they know not what they know.

    Pros

    The people who work there were great, I had a lot of responsibilities and the work I did actually made a difference within my division

    Cons

    If you are looking for full time after having an internship there, you will be waiting until very close to when you can start working upon graduation. They hire just in time so do not hire much more than 2 months out of a start date.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to determine jobs that could be created from the work done by interns and potentially offer them jobs at the end of the summer if you feel like they did good work.
