Undisclosed Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 5 days - interviewed at PwC.
Interview Details I'm trying to remain as anonymous as I possibly can, but I should share my experience as a heads up for others.
I had a panel interview, then got a call 4 days later that I was the chosen candidate Two hours later the offer was withdrawn (no fault of my own really, they just decided to go with someone "internal"). I did not do anything crazy, like quit my current job or anything, and I was not upset that I did not get the job, I just thought that the way they handled it was extremely unprofessional.
Interview Question – I expected all the questions I was asked. Answer Question

National Leadership COnfrence Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at PwC in April 2013.
Interview Details I got a telephone interview for the National Leadership Conference for the Calgary Office.
I prepared for the interview by researching the office and the work they do. I put a lot of emphasis on Audit and didn't talk as much about the conference. I am waiting for feedback from the interviewers to see where I could have improved.
Interview Question – The questions were pretty srtandard (Tell us about yourself? Why do you want to be a CA?) and i thought i did well, but i guess they were looking more at who fits the company and culture. Answer Question
Summer Intern - Audit Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through college or university and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at PwC.
Interview Details Applied to PwC as part of the CA recruitment process. Received an interview offer. Interviewer was really friendly . Even in situations where I can't answer to the question perfectly, interviewer would tried to guide me to answer the whole questions by asking me to elaborate on certain points. Was not offered a second interview , as I was totally unprepared for the tough behavioral questions that were asked
Interview Question – Tell me a time where you have to adjust your communication style to a certain audience?
Tell me a time where you went above and beyond what is required of you to deliver excellent service?

Associate Consultant Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at PwC.
Interview Details The initial phone interview with a consultant was basic and gave me a favorable impression. They then flew me out to their Calgary location. The day consisted of an 1 on 1 interview with a senior partner, which was straightforward. There was also an office tour. The toughest portion was a group exercise with about 5 other interviewees where the task is to comb through a case study and provide a recommendation. They was a follow up written assessment where you have to summarize your findings.
