Interview Details Lengthy interview process. I was called back multiple times and had to interview with everybody and their brother before I was hired. I had almost given up on getting the job. I had to take an IQ test and a polygraph test.

Negotiation Details – I was romanced and then was never given what I was promised.

Interview Details Went for two interviews and I was being lied to.Drove an hour and twenty minutes wast of time.

I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at Guardsmark in August 2013.

Interview Details Overall the Interview was very relaxed and more of a conversation to get to know my overall personality.

Questions just covered my previous jobs held as well as my abilities and availability.

Interview Question – There was a multiple choice personality test that asked some questions that might be viewed as inappropriate. An form agreeing to take the test was required to be signed before hand. This test is required to be taken by anyone wishing to be employed by Guardsmark.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – Negotiation on salary was not optional. Pay was set at a contracted amount based on the customer location.

Interview Details An extensive background check was conducted after submitting a lengthy application. The interview consisted of fact checking and discussion of any experience that would have direct bearing on the position to be filled.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Guardsmark in June 2009.

Interview Details Length and detailed 45 page application will check it out to the nth degree. Do not bother applying if you have any criminal record, a bankruptcy or if you have even tried drugs. Many interviews expect it to take up to 3 months. Expect to meet senior management and people not directly in your areas of expertese

Negotiation Details – Not much take it or leave it some (up to 10%) flexibility on salary

Interview Details The interview process at the time I applied was very detailed and thorough. If you have all your documents with you at the time of the interview, you will be sent out for drug screening and polygraph testing.

Interview Details Application process is something serious I'll say that much, I'm used to taking a drug test pre employment but they have a pretty outrageous process overall. poly graph, a reference method that requires your references to fill out paper work, 600 question psych test etc. on top of the 35-40 page application. Personally by the time I realized how much non sense was needed to be completed I lost interest 100% 10 dollars an hour just didn't seem fit.

Interview Question – psych test questions regarding sex life. In my opinion that's personal and I shouldn't be required to answer those types of questions. They have nothing to do with working security or one's mental stability, and I'm not applying for porn.   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – After a lot of research on the company, I feel it's not for everyone. Taking a weekend to think it over, I came to the conclusion that I'd rather keep looking for a better fit opportunity. Just my opinion though, could be the perfect fit for many.
