Application

I applied through a recruiter – interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Interview

Got recruited on the streets by one of the managers and was told to apply online. They called me within a week to ask if I could come in for an interview and gave me the choice to choose my own interview time. Went in for an interview and got a call the next day offering the position!

    Interview

Ask a question about diversity, ask a question about something that was worked hard for to achieve.ask a question about overcoming a situation where there was trouble and how you overcame it. Group interview with very good looking people that are not always all that bright. If you have a good head on your shoulders u will do just fine.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Toronto, ON) in December 2012.

    Interview

After signing for group interview on the company website, there was only one stage with the store manager. The whole inter view was about 15 mins and it was casual and somehow easy. Do not wear too much make-up (foundation and mascara are enough). Their image is very neutral and make sure you can represent it.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Toronto, ON) in December 2011.

    Interview

The interview process was pretty straightforward, if they approached you in store about being a model, then you're pretty much guaranteed the position as long as you don't come off as completely incompetent during the interview. The manager takes a group to a quiet part of the mall and asks question like "what does diversity mean to you?" and "why would you be a good fit at our store?".

    Interview Questions

    • "What does diversity mean to you?"   1 Answer

    Negotiation

There's no negotiation process. At a place like Abercrombie and Fitch where they hire at least one new employee every week and already has over 100 models in the system, they really don't give you a chance to negotiate.

I applied in-person. The process took a weekinterviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Toronto, ON) in July 2009.

    Interview

Went into the store and filled out an application on their electronic screen. Told that interviews are happening on certain afternoons of the week, had the option to go to anyone of them. It was a group interview with less than 10 people.

    Interview

You either apple in-store or online. You get to choose the date of your interview. I don't think you get a reminder, so once you pick the date and time, make sure you put it in your calendar or something. The interview is really easy. They always do group interviews but if you're lucky, you might be the only one to sign up for the date and time you chose. They ask about 3 questions that are really easy to answer. Make sure you know about diversity. Also after your interview, do NOT call and follow up. If you don't get a call back within a week, you most likely did not get the job. As for attire, you don't have to dress up in slacks. It would be better if you wore the brand. If you don't know how to look the part, go on the website.
