Application Details

I interviewed in-person. The process took a day - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Interview Details

I applied through a kiosk at the store that I wanted to work in. I was interviewed by the manager on the spot. The manager and the rest of the people working there were really friendly and kind. She didn't have much to ask me since my resume was pretty concise.

Hour long sit down with the general manager who will ask you specific questions relating to your previous experiences. Google the MIT interview and i think you will find some great examples.

I interviewed online. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in April 2011.

My interview process was terrible! I was called to meet the manager in store, but wasn't told if it was a formal interview. I had prepared myself for an interview, showed up at 8:00 AM, only to have her read out the job description for me. She said I was perfect for the job, and they would call me THAT night to set up a formal interview. Two weeks later, I called back, explained that if they didn't think I was right for the position, I wouldn't take it personally. She reassured me that I WAS right for the position, and that they were very busy and would call me THE DAY after. It's been 5 months.. still waiting..

The process was two interviews. Very easy and straight forward. They aren't tricky about the questions and interviewers are pretty laid back. It is also very casual, wearing jeans and casual top is completely acceptable- you will feel awkward if you are more dressed up. Pretty easy job to get.

Basically asking about your personality, prior experiences, leadership. They want to know that you are energetic, classy, have sense of style, ready to work hard. Make sure you wear make up and wear something from Abercrombie and Fitch. The most important is your looks.

The interview was a standard interview but it took me to follow up with the district manager to see if i got the job, it took her 3 weeks to get back to me. She was really cool but i think better communication was necessary instead of having me wait almost a month.

Mostly behavioral questions (tell me a time when.... what did you do, what was the result, etc) 4 year degree required. Usually you get an interview by communicating with someone in the store and they provide your information to the district manager.

    Interview Questions
    • No difficult question really, just things like "tell me about a time you had a conflict with another person, what did you do to solve it and what was the result?"   Answer Question

Be sure to be a specific as possible about your answers. Diversity is very important to the company, be sure to explain what it means to you in detail. They like people who are well-rounded and outgoing, as well as team players who have a passion for the brand. Wear something from the brand and be sure to be able to answer how you perceive the brand.

I interviewed through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in June 2014.

    Interview Details

It is a structured interview that lasts 30-45 minutes, depending on how many questions you have after the formal interview (tip: have a lot of questions and get to know them!). The interviewer will evaluate you on your communication skills and ask you to give examples of how you work with others and handle conflicts. The key is to be outgoing, confident, and well-groomed.
